The exact finding
In its 5 June 2025 release, the ACMA said a separate investigation found VicBet contravened National Self-Exclusion Register marketing rules by sending marketing material to a self-excluded person. The regulator said it issued VicBet a formal warning.
The release does not identify a broader class of transactions or conclude that VicBet committed fraud. A precise summary therefore names the regulator, conduct and response without attaching a wider label.
